After move to YouTube Gaming, 100T CouRage Hits 2M Subscriber Milestone

After his decision to stream exclusively on YouTube Gaming, 100T CouRageJD recently achieved his 2M subscriber milestone!

CouRage joined other top content creators who fled Twitch for another streaming platform back in November.

Around August of last year, Ninja jumped ships to Twitch’s rival platform Mixer which was then followed by Shroud in October.

The streamer shared the good news on Twitter:

“WE OFFICIALLY HIT 2 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS ON YOUTUBE!

Thank you all for changing my life. This has been a dream come true.

2020 is about to be insane.”

He also added a reminder for all his fans to learn a thing or two from:

“Don’t take part. Take over.”

Dunlop began his gaming career as an intern at esports organizer Major League Gaming in 2014 and being a Call of Duty commentator.

In 2018, he transitioned to a full-time streamer career with the audience he’d gathered during the time he spent as a host.

He started off as a streamer for the esports team Optic Gaming, before he transferred to 100 Thieves in May of 2019.

Back when he announced his sudden decision to stream exclusively on Youtube, Dunlop said:

“I wanted to be a YouTuber before I wanted to be a streamer and to have everything live in one place was something that was very enticing.”

“I always put a lot of thought into watch time and how many ads and how we can optimize my channel to get more eyes on it.”

But then, he further set his goals high.

It was ambitious to think of garnering 2M subs before 2019 ended, considering he only transferred in November, but the streamer met his subcount goal shortly before January concluded.

“I know what works now and I’m more than confident we are going to hit 2 million subs by the end of the year.”

Fellow 100T members Mako and Valkyrae, DrLupo, FaZe Simp, and other content creators all congratulated CouRage for such a remarkable achievement.

Streamers can either succeed or fail depending on the platform they’ve chosen, and CouRage sure knows how to play his cards right on Youtube Gaming!
