Twitch Signs Multi-Year Deals with TimTheTatman, DrLupo and LIRIK

In the midst of the on-going platform wars, Twitch has signed streamers TimTheTatman, DrLupo and LIRIK to multi-year exclusive contracts.

The three have a massive audience with over 550 million combined views.

The contract signing came at a time where a lot of streaming platforms are vying for streamers and esports talents to draw in more viewers.

Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar, Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo, and Saqib “LIRIK” Zahid will continue to exclusively stream on the platform for the next few years.

The three deals were all facilitated by Loaded, the gamer management company responsible for overseeing key areas of each streamer’s career.

The CEO and founder of Loaded, Brandon Freytag, shared his thoughts on the announcement:

“These professional streamers are a part of the core foundation of Twitch.”

“Each started to stream in 2011-2012 and have built massive and passionate audiences due to their engaging streams and participation in several iconic events throughout the years. We are excited to have each of them continue their success with Twitch in an even bigger way for more years to come.”

Seems like the future is promising for these 3 stars on the platform!

TimTheTatman has a following of over 4.1 million on his Twitch channel, where he plays various titular games like Fortnite, World of Warcraft, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He’s also sponsored by Monster Energy and Audio-Technica.

Streamer DrLupo boasts 3.6 million followers on Twitch. He’s known to play first-person shooting games, among other trending or hot games as of the moment.

Meanwhile, LIRIK is ranked as the 23rd most popular streamer on Twitch with 2.5 million followers. He’s a variety gamer who started streaming his World of Warcraft gameplays on the platform in 2011. Eventually, he grew his channel by playing other titular games.

At a time where major platforms are competing for both talent and views, it’s quite a surprise how the 3 didn’t leave for the rival platform.

Most recently, Twitch star Ewok is the latest addition to the list of Twitch stars who jumped ships to the rival platform, Mixer.

She joins the list along with the likes of A-listers in the industry who also made the move: Ninja, Shroud, and KingGothalion.

Gaming legend Ninja, who once dominated Twitch, still congratulated his fellow streamers on their contract renewals despite having differences with the platform in the past.

“Congrats to @timthetatman @DrLupo and @LIRIK on your contract renewals with twitch. Keep killing it the three of you ^_^”

Safe to say, these three won’t be the ones who got away!
