Big Twitch stars jumping ships to Mixer seem to be a common occurence now. In fact, the latest addition to this list is Ewok.
No, not the furry teddy bear-resembling creatures on Star Wars. It’s FaZe clan’s very own Ewok!
In case you have never heard of her before, Ewok is the first female gamer to join “FaZe” which is one of the most successful esports organizations in the world.
She is a lot of things at once: a deaf 13-year-old Fortnite pro, Faze Clan’s first female member and the second one under 14, and the latest prominent streamer to leave Twitch to stream exclusively on the Microsoft-owned rival platform.
Not allowing her deafness to get in the way of her streaming journey, Soleil “Ewok” Wheeler got famous for streaming Fortnite. She has garnered over 284,882 followers on her channel.
In her announcement video posted on Twitter, she paints the Mixer logo on a stark white wall.
Shortly after, she nods, as though she’s appreciating the work she’s done.
Ewok is the latest high-profile Twitch streamer who recently joined Mixer, along with the likes of Ninja, Shroud, and KingGothalion who also recently jumped ships. She’s set to stream exclusively on Mixer. Most notably, she is the only girl streamer on the list so far.
Mixer’s official Twitter account was quick to congratulate Ewok on her transfer.

Official Mixer representatives weren’t shy to express how hyped they all are to have her as part of the family.

Ewok is an interesting choice for the platform. She might be big on Twitch, but she doesn’t put up nearly the numbers that other huge names do. Additionally, she’s also relatively new to streaming.
