Streamer Kandyland Reveals IRL Harassment with a Troll Saying She Uses Body for Views

Kandyland seemed to have concluded 2019 with an uneventful encounter with an IRL harasser.

Emma “Kandyland” Carlsson, a popular IRL and variety streamer on Twitch, has made a name for herself for having humorous banters and funny interactions with her viewers.

Her content is among the best known on the “Just Chatting” category on the platform.

However, the streamer revealed a recent IRL encounter with a harasser saying she uses her body for views. It happened during a NYE night out at a nightclub to kick off the new decade.

She and the person in question were hitting it off well before he made some distasteful comments on her content – which was totally uncalled for.

Kandyland didn’t shy away from speaking her thoughts to the said stranger.

“There was a guy who came up to me, who recognized me from the internet… What he said was, ‘You only get views because you have big tits, and they’re probably not even real.’”

She further argued how her viewers watch her well-crafted content and not for her personal looks.

“The reason people choose to stay and watch me is not because of my appearance… I don’t need to defend myself. It’s rude. I don’t want to cover up, okay?”

Apparently, that wasn’t the end of the said heated exchange. The offensive comment from the IRL troll went on, even commenting on the streamer’s behind – claiming that “it’s probably flat”

“Was that necessary? No, it wasn’t. So I just walked away. I didn’t say anything. But that’s like a troll in real life… a real-life incel!”

To know Kandyland has been harrassed even in real life is saddening, considering how gamer girls are already subject to harassment and bullying online.

They have to work harder than their male counterparts in proving that they have the skills, entertaining personality, and charisma aside from flaunting their looks.

The streamer later admitted this wasn’t the first time such a distasteful scenario happened to her in real life. A similar encounter also occurred during the DreamHack gaming convention

“This happened at DreamHack, this happened at the festival… I’m so worried that the trolls are getting out. When they are under the influence, I guess. Whatever he did.”

Regardless, spreading hate online and in real life is never a good idea. Props to Kandyland for keeping her composure towards such demeaning words!

If anything, she could decide to lash out at the said stranger but she chose not to because she didn’t deserve an inch of her time and effort.

The streamer continues to garner a solid following and build her fanbase. Aside from IRL streams, she’s also a partnered Twitch streamer who is mostly known for playing online competitive games like League of Legends and World of Warcraft.

At the moment, she has over 271k followers on her channel.
