Streamer Onision Banned from Twitch for Speculated Abuse

Following his Patreon ban in late 2019, Youtuber Onision got his Twitch channel banned for speculated abuse allegations.

Gregory “Onision” Jackson garnered over 2M subscribers on his Youtube channel before a string of controversies enveloped his name in late 2019.

It cost him to lose a lot of followers, with his sub count decreasing to a little over 1.5M. All this because the streamer is under fire for allegations of abuse and speculated child grooming.

Around November of last year, Jackson’s Patreon account was banned for doxing. Doxing is the act of publishing private information about an individual online, typically with malicious intent.

He posted the phone number of fellow YouTuber Billie Dawn Webb without her consent, who had earlier accused Onision of manipulating her into entering a relationship.

In this string of controversy, his Twitch ban followed shortly.

Last January 15, the streamer’s partnered Twitch channel was banned. Prior to the ban, he also hasn’t streamed for almost two weeks.

He was barely active on Twitch, only setting up a livestream occasionally. His channel is known for his League of Legends gameplay and videos under the “Just Chatting” category.

Despite his apparent popularity on Youtube, Onision only has around 29K followers on Twitch with an average of less than 20 viewers based on recent statistics.

It’s still unconfirmed why Twitch terminated his account, or if the said ban is a permanent ruling. Fans may have to wait a while for any official announcements regarding the matter.

As early as 2010, Onision earned the title of being the “most controversial YouTuber” — but it was only in 2019 that more allegations surfaced.

Last year, a video with his ex-girlfriend Shiloh Hoganson surfaced in which he is caught on-cam saying the sinister line:

“You know this video is never going to be online, right? No one will ever know how much I abuse you.”

Several women has since then accused Jackson (along with his spouse Kai Averoe) of alleged abuse and harassment.

On October 30, 2019, Chris Hansen revealed that he teamed up with the FBI to investigate allegations of child grooming against the notorious streamer. They also spoke with one of the alleged victims, Sarah.

Even Hoganson herself claimed to be treated as a “slave” by Jackson, with the trauma resulting in her having seizures.

Since then, there have been calls for Youtube to take action against the streamer and ban him from the website.
