Famous cosplayer and bathwater entrepreneur Belle Delphine made her dramatic return to social media after a two-month social media hiatus by claiming she has been arrested.
In a recent tweet, she shared an apparent mugshot of herself with messy hair and smudged mascara along with the caption:
I got arrested lol.
The 19-year-old internet personality claimed she has been detained by the Metropolitan Police in London.
In case you missed it, Belle Delphine, whose real name is Mary-Belle Kirschner, made headlines for selling gamer girl bathwater and pranking her followers with a trolly Pornhub account.
She was allegedly selling jars of her own bath water for 30 USD each. According to Delphine, the Gamer Girl Bathwater is ‘bottled while I’m playing in the bath. This really is bathwater.’
She further adds:
Disclaimer: This water is not for drinking and should only be used for sentimental purposes.
Delphine’s social media presence had been remarkably quiet this summer — especially after her IG account was taken down by the social media network for “violating community guidelines.”
Her Twitter account has been silent as well until her recent announcement of being arrested.
Right before posting her dramatic mugshot online, Belle informed her followers that she was on a vacation in Greece which was unfortunately cut short.
The star was hospitalized for food poisoning and was prompted to fly back home a week earlier than scheduled. She also insinuated that her social media absence was because she was still recovering.
The tweet about her arrest seems to have struck a chord with her barrage of followers with more than 21,000 retweets and 165,000 likes since it was posted.
While many fans speculated about the nature of her arrest, she took it to Twitter on October 7 to clarify the misdemeanor she apparently committed:
I stg this girl came to my party and stole my hamster. I have no idea why, or who tf does that? I spray painted the fucc out of her car and got arrested, at least I got my hamster back. bitch
According to her, an unnamed guest came to her party and stole her pet hamster. In retaliation, Delphine spray painted the accused’s car and got arrested for it. The words “Bitch! Give me my hamster back” was written in bold crimson along with a drawing of pepe the frog dressed as a clown.
Originally from South Africa, Delphine currently resides in the United Kingdom — so chances are the vandalism offence took place in the country.
This news and all the speculation it stirred among her loyal followers brings Belle Delphine back, even if very briefly, in the spotlight once more.
