Youtuber David Dobrik shares his joy as he won a People’s Choice Award.
The 2019 People’s Choice Awards were held in Santa Monica, CA on November 10. Most notably, David Dobrik was the most casually-dressed YouTuber on the red carpet.
He later took home the award for social star of 2019.
As for his award ensemble: he donned a simple black shirt, which he wears in many of his YouTube videos, and pinstriped pants.
The Youtube star also carried a disposable camera, which he used to take photos for his Instagram account, “David’s Disposable“.
He took it to Twitter to express his glee over the received recognition:
I WON A PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD AND this is crazy. I mean like seriously. You guys have showed my friends and I so much love and I don’t think anything will ever top that and I don’t think we’ll ever be able to say thank you enough. So here’s the first of many! THANK YOU 😊

David has 14.4 million subscribers on his Youtube account. His journey to become a well-known internet personality traces all the way back, he started his career on Vine before moving to Youtube towards the end of 2014.
In addition to Hollywood A-listers (actors and musicians), many YouTubers attended the event.
Aside from Dobrik, internet stars such as Tana Mongeau, Colleen Balliner, and Bretman rock showed up to the event wearing fashionable ensembles.
In the age of digital influence, it’s true that internet influencers hold as much fame and prestige as Hollywood celebrities.
