Youtube star David Dobrik is now one of the most eligible bachelors (once again)!
Popular Youtuber David Dobrik took his vlogging to the next level by marrying his best friend’s mother in May, only to file a divorce shortly afterwards.
This has skyrocketed discussions about Dobrik’s current relationship status.
In a viral vlog uploaded last May, Dobrik decided to put a ring on the mom of his best buddy Jason Nash. The Youtube video has over 10 million views as of writing.
After Nash jokingly told Dobrik that he would never find love and get married, the latter took it as a challenge and decided right there and then to tie the knot with Mrs. Nash.
Talk about a perfect in-your-face moment!
However, the marriage was only short-lived. He filed for divorce back in June, explaining that:
“We may have rushed into things but that’s what happens when two young people fall in love.”
The entire skit was only an elaborate joke, but the marriage was actually legally carried out.
Now that he’s off the hook (once again), the Youtuber is apparently looking for love and romantic prospects out in the open.
In a recent interview with ClevverTV, Dobrik is revealed to be back to browsing popular dating apps like Bumble. He shows strong preference for the app over Tinder and OKCupid.
More and more fans are intrigued about his dating life now that he’s back to living his bachelor ways.
“Listen, if we’re talking dating apps, I’m only talking Bumble… Bumble is my go-to. So let’s leave it at that. But the transition’s tough! Dating apps, it’s a lot to get used to, because you’ve got to be clever, you know?”
Amidst the growing rumors of him dating his assistant Natalie, Dobrik also confirmed how that was off-limits. He actually decided not to date his assistant — ever.
The romance rumors began to circulate after he bought his assistant two new cars. This proves to be a rather generous gesture!
“I’m definitely not. Nobody in my friend group is actually dating my assistant Natalie, which is kind of a heartbreaker to a lot of people. But no, she’s just a really good friend of mine.”
As of the moment, he seems to be open to the idea of exploring new connections and meeting new people outside his friend group.
There’s still no update yet if he has found any success on his dating apps, but we fans hear a word or two in time!
