Lilypichu Caught in a Major Romance Controversy

Although Lilypichu was recently in Japan with her OfflineTV streamer friends, it’s not entirely a good time for her.

The famous streamer is caught in a major romance controversy, involving her fellow streamer boyfriend Albert and an alleged “cheating” enabled by Google docs.

To breakdown this hot drama in the influencer community, Albert “SleightlyMusical” Chang and Lily “LilyPichu” Ki are a pair of musicians that have been dating for a while. Both are popular content creators on Twitch and members of a group called OfflineTV.

A fellow musical streamer, Sarah “AvocadoPeeled” Lee, is allegedly the third party to this romance fiasco. She has made guest appearances on both their streams before.

Lily’s streamer friends began to tweet cryptic messages, causing the fans to speculate what could be going on.

As a way to deal with rampant theories, Lily felt the need to make a personal statement on the matter

Albert and I aren’t together anymore. I apologize for all the subtweeting made by my friends. They were shocked and acted out. I didn’t know if I should share it/how to share this and was stressing out about it but at this point it doesn’t matter I’m too sick and tired.

To deal with the matter rationally, she also informs her followers how she’s probably going to take a short hiatus from any streaming activity.

Lily ended the note with a little request,

“I know people want to continue speculating but at the very least, please don’t spread any more hurt to anyone.”

Some fans believe this is all for publicity. They criticize the OfflineTV stars for tweeting about the subject before it was public, believing it could be for “clout”. Others believe Chang may be cheating with Lee to end the relationship.

There is no public evidence of cheating or what happened inside the personal lives of these influencers, but fans speculate it involved Google docs.

Both Chang and Lee have also released their own apology statements. Separately, they express remorse for what happened and will be distancing themselves from OfflineTV and their community.

Chang reflects:

I’m sorry for the people I’ve hurt in all of our communities, I’m sorry for the friends I let down at Offline.TV, and most of all I’m sorry for hurting you, Lily.

Sarah Lee echoed the same sentiments:

I’m sorry for the extreme hurt I’ve caused to everyone in the communities, to those who I could once call ‘friend’, and to Lily most of all.

Does this mark the end of the musical duo?
