Logan Paul drops new documentary to address past controversies

The Youtube sensation announced the release of his 39-minute film in an intense, dramatic tweet.

“Literal blood, sweat, and tears were put into this film. Our official Boxing Documentary is out NOW. watch or splinter”

The description on the video narrates:

From building one of YouTube’s biggest empires to becoming the most hated man on the planet, Logan Paul turns to boxing in order to find himself again.

In case you were wondering about the title – “The Maverick” is named after Logan’s late pet parrot. The video swiftly had over a quarter of a million views after it was uploaded.

The video narrates Logan Paul’s journey in becoming a Youtube big-shot.

His career renaissance follows his many controversies as a YouTuber – most infamously, his video on a ‘suicide forest’ in Japan, which showed a dead body and generated an international backlash.

Viewers unanimously agreed it was totally uncalled for and rather inhumane. The infamous video garnered six million views in just 24 hours.

As a reflection, Paul was caught saying at the 06:08 minute mark of the video:

“I should have never posted the video, I should have put the cameras down… There’s a lot of things I should have done differently but I didn’t, and for that… I am sorry.”

The video is incredibly important and essential to Logan Paul’s recovery. Fans are impressed to see how he handles himself moving forward and many are eager to watch Logan’s new content.

A few supporters took it to Twitter to express their anticipation.

“Loved every single bit of it. The documentary turned out to be very entertaining. The music of choice, the editing, the style was an amazing work! ❤️”
“the maverick intro is so sick”
“Just watched it , love the way its filmed and the production , editing is just very well done .”

Meanwhile, others seem to be critical about it.

“A boxing doc from a YouTube guy who isn’t a boxer. Fantastic 🙄”
“I don’t really care to be honest mate”

Earlier this year, the Youtuber received backlash from the LGBT community when he implied homosexuality was a choice. He went further by saying he was going to go gay ‘for a month’.

Logan will debut as a professional boxer on November 9, where he is scheduled to face fellow Youtuber Olajide “KSI” Olatunji once again at the Staples Centre in LA.

The two previously met in the ring back in late February 2018, which ended up as a draw.

Fans and interested viewers alike can check out the documentary on Youtube.
