What to Expect on Call of Duty Mobile in June: BR Map changes, Kill Confirmed return, Gulag

Great things are in store for Call of Duty Mobile’s new season!

Mobile players can expect changes to the BR map, new vehicles, the return of Kill Confirmed, and the addition of the Gulag map.

New areas for combat

CoD-M’s battle royale map will be getting an overhaul in the next update, along with the addition of new vehicles.

The developers confirmed the big news on Twitter and gave  a sneak peek of the upcoming changes in the game:

The teaser trailer gives a comparison of the old map to the new one.

In the upcoming update, seven new sections will be added to the ever familiar BR map: Downtown, Frigid, Black Market, Ski Town, Wetland, and Heat.

Season 7 is coming!

We are not quite sure when Season 7 will be released as on June 2, Activision confirmed  the indefinite postponement of  Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 4 and CoD-Mobile Season 7 given recent events.

“We are moving the launches of Modern Warfare Season 4 and Call of Duty Mobile Season 7 to later dates. Right now it’s time for those speaking up for equality, justice and change to be seen and heard. We stand alongside you.”

Officially called as “Radioactive Agent,”  the fresh new season will bring lots of new content to the CoD title.

Unlike previous updates, Activision decided not to release a public test server for the brand new season.

The complete list of new updates and features included in the S7 update is still yet to be revealed.

However, it looks like there’s going to be a new mobile-exclusive Multiplayer map waiting for players called Tunisia.

It takes the fight to the open square and narrow alleyways of a seaside Mediterranean town.

Gulag

Warzone’s Gulag will also soon head over to mobile.

The official Twitter handle of the game recently revealed a teaser photo which looks eerily similar to the Gulag.

The Gulag is present in the public test server beta of the game, separate from its Garena version.

Players can play the 2v2 mode on Gulag. Since it’s considered as one of the smallest maps in the CoD universe, it might be reserved for 1v1 and 2v2 modes.

The return of Kill confirmed

Developers also confirmed the return of Kill Confirmed in June, after the mode was taken out of the current rotation.

The well-received game mode has been enjoyed by players only during a limited time.

With the exit of the Rapid Fire game mode, the slot is now up for Kill Confirmed’s anticipated comeback.

But wait, there’s more! Alongside these new updates, the HBR will finally be added to the roster of CoD: Mobile’s free weapons.

Activision decided against revealing the exact release time for new updates should there be unprecedented delays.
